One of the leading chamber groups performing today, the Echo Award-winning Scharoun Ensemble Berlin features the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra's principal string and woodwind musicians. For this concert, these profoundly talented musicians will perform pieces written by Mozart and Beethoven, putting Alexander Bader's clarinet work on display. Septet, Op. 20 is one of Beethoven's most popular works and one of the finest septets ever written. The Scharoun Ensemble will also perform Mozart's Quintet for Clarinet in Strings, one of the composer's most beautiful chamber pieces. Learn More
Quotes & Highlights
- “...an amazing talent. Miller is having so much fun doing [MacHomer] that his humor is infectious for Shakespeare adherents and Simpson fans alike... it’s intelligent, hilariously funny, and it works like gangbusters.”<em> --The Los Angeles Times</em>
<p>Written and performed by Rick Miller, this one-man extravaganza features over 50 voices from TV’s favorite dysfunctional family in a hilarious performance of Shakespeare’s bloody tragedy. Multi-media projections and an original musical score, both by Miller, accompany the show in which Rick portrays all the stars, including: Homer Simpson as MacHomer and Marge as Lady MacHomer, Mr. Burns as King Duncan, Krusty the Clown as the Porter, and the irrepressible Bart Simpson as Fleance.</p>
