Marc Cohn was great. Since this was our first time seeing him (always wanted to) we were grateful for this 'best of' show. This was basically like an unplugged show with just him and his friend on electric and acoustic guitars. His voice still sounds great, song selection was excellent and the sound in the theatre was exceptional. Thanks to Marc, wonderful evening.Written on Nov 21 2011

Description
A Grammy Award-winning singer and songwriter, Marc Cohn (“Walking in Memphis,” “Silver Thunderbird,” “True Companion”) is a natural storyteller, balancing the exuberant with the poignant. He is able to distill universal truths from his often romantic, drawn-from-life tales. His music combines the precision of a brilliant tunesmith with the passion of a great soul man.
The show includes songs from his latest release Listening Booth: 1970. Cohn doesn’t merely recreate the sounds of this storied time, he transforms songs from such artists as Cat Stevens, John Lennon, Paul McCartney, Van Morrison, Smokey Robinson, Creedence Clearwater Revival and even Bread into tracks that are warm, soulful, sometimes a little sexy, and always full of easy-going charm.
