Four weeks of preliminary competition between the OC's top up-and-coming stand-ups culminate in the finals, where the winning comics receive the coveted title and fabulous prizes.

We had a great time! All of the comedians were good and the "packed house" energy was a lot of fun!
The Improv provided a number of comics in additions to those in the OC Comedy Competition. A lot of laughs. Fun time. The place was sold out on a Tuesday Night!
I got four tickets for myself, my wife, my sister and my brother-in-law. I expected the show to be a lot shorter and a lot more "amateur" since it was free. The four of us were delightfully surprised to find that there were about 10 comics each performing for a decent length of time and they were all funny (some very funny). I enjoyed my Heineken as I sat back, took the energy of a full house and laughed myself to mental and physical health!
Excellent comedy entertainment!
I laughed so much that I will be back to see the finals. Then again, I'm easily amused by Prius drag racing, race ralations, female gym teachers and the true meaning of "Cougar".
Had a great group of 8 chicks and we had a ball. All comics except 2 were outstanding and the other 2 should have just stayed home. Although you have to give them credit for getting up on the stage and trying. thanks
This was a great time and there was a lot of variety.
Food is always great and drinks are a deal.
Would recommend this to everyone.
Great stand up, Drinks were weak and a rip-off. $6 for a reg. newcastle beer and $8.75 for a tall long-island that tasted like juice to me. no-wonder the tix r free.

we really had a good time. the waiters/waitess very nice. Every seat is a good one. We will be returning back to the improv very soon
Variable quality of comedians...some really funny, some not so much. Overall, a fun night out!

Most of the comedians had unique material and were quite entertaining. However, I guess I'm not part of the crowd that enjoys repetitive penis jokes. Seats were great, food mediocre, drinks expensive. Just what was expected.

Funny show, thought that there would just be around three or four comedians but to my surprise there were around 9 or 10.
I didn't really like it, simply because all of these comedians were very vulgar and cussed a lot, which was probably expected at these comedy clubs. However, I prefer a cleaner style.
It was a great time....all the comedians were very good, some were GREAT! For a contest, I was impressed!! Thanks!
What a cool way to see up and coming comedians from the OC area!
Went with 3 girlfriends and had a blast! Full house too!! Plus we were given "free" tickets to go back the following week and bring a guest!

The Improv offers a full-service bar and serves dinner, appetizers and dessert nightly. There is a 2-drink minimum per person (which can be fulfilled with alcoholic beverages, soda, coffee or dessert).
