Wonderful evening! The entire family enjoyed the show. It was so clever how the edited the movies and then played the music according to what was happening.
Also, I ordered the VIP Meadows Package, and moving forward I probably will not be doing that because the food was just okay. They followed the menu that was listed on Goldstar, however everything was cold and the chicken that was given was very very small. But the seats that came with the package for the show was amazing!

Perfect evening to introduce 8 year olds to the symphony. We all loved the music and the whole experience. Only thing I would do differently would be to bring my own picnic. Bristol Farms sandwiches and chick. salad were too soggy to eat.
Shuttle service from the main gate to the amphitheater is provided for mobility-impaired patrons from 5:30 to 7:15pm and back again after the concert. Gates open at 5:30pm for picnicking.
Food and beverages are allowed in the amphitheater.
Please bring a jacket or blanket, as evenings can get chilly.
VIP Meadows buffet menu:
Black Bean Empanadas with sour cream and salsa
Mixed Baby Greens with cranberry vinaigrette
Lemon Rosemary Chicken with mashed potatoes and assorted vegetables
Blood Orange Mascarpone Mousse
Enjoy a private dining area tucked beside the circle at Verizon Wireless Amphitheater beneath the shade of an old willow tree. A comfortable table and chairs are always waiting for you, without the mad rush to find the perfect picnic spot. Live music creates a stylish, festive atmosphere as you enjoy an extraordinary served buffet catered by Bristol Farms; plus, coffee and desserts.
Arrive early -- the buffet closes at 7:30pm. Menu is current at time of publication, but subject to change.
Or add on a delicious gourmet picnic meal from Bristol Farms, official caterer of Pacific Symphony’s Summer Festival 2012, during the check-out process. Picnic boxes are available for convenient pick-up just inside the amphitheater gates.
Picnic Box Menu:
Sandwich Box: Gourmet sandwich with your choice of rare roast beef, Black Forest ham, smoked turkey or fresh veggie. Served with fresh fruit salad, spinach pasta salad and two cookies.
