Gravity is no match for Diavolo Dance Theater's daredevils of dance as they leap, fly and spin with power, elegance and a thrill of danger in their acclaimed work Transit Space. Influenced by the documentary Dogtown and Z-Boys, this kinetic, high-flying work explores themes of loss and community while using skate ramps and half-pipes as set pieces to represent an urban environment. Led by Artistic Director Jacques Heim, Diavolo's an internationally renowned modern dance company of dancers, gymnasts, acrobats and athletes. Learn More
Yes, even the disciplined singers of Men Alive have a “bad boy” side itching to rip off their tuxes and break into some rockin’ music! For their summer show, “Rock Star,” they commemorate 50 years of rock music! Journey with them through the ‘50s rock and roll of Elvis and Chuck Berry and the ‘70s classic rock of Elton John and Queen, to the ‘80s and ‘90s pop rock of Blondie and the B-52s—and many more great artists along the way. Men Alive will raise the roof and light up the stage with some of rock’s most legendary stars and powerful tunes in this raucous blowout!
Presented by Men Alive – The Orange County Gay Men’s Chorus
