Theater was nice and good seating. Band was good but this was almost a band concert instead of a Hooley as instrumentals accounted for about half of the program. Strange selection of songs for a hooley. I expected cheerful rousing Irish songs; got mournful tunes with average singers. Hard to understand vocals much of the time. Dancers were great but not enough to carry the whole show; almost NO songs where the audience could join in and sing along. I would not recommend this production. Needs a lot of work and to be livened up so audiemce can really feel they are part of a celebration. I left the theater feeling "let down". I will NOT be purchasing tickets for their production of an Irish Christmas

Very nice venue. Great 4 piece band and wonderful Irish dancers. Singers were just OK. Lead singer was a bit over-the-top for my tastes. Very limited audience involvement except for one chorus of Cockles and Mussels. Song selection and arrangements did not invite participation.

A fine combination of talented musicians, dancers, singers and a story teller. Lively and full of fun and enjoyment. The last 15 minustes could have been cut as it had already felt complete before they went on just a wee bit too long.

Description

This St. Patrick’s Day concert features fiddles, uilleann pipes, whistles, flutes, Irish harp, bodhráns, storytelling, singing, and the brilliance of Irish dance. Prepare to participate in a good old-fashioned Irish sing-along led by Dubliner Laura Turner.

Not to be missed, this event was a sellout last year and is sure to be a repeat performance this year. Faith n Begorra to you all and stay clear of those mischievous little leprechauns. You're invited to be "Citizens of Ireland" for the day!
