report as inappropriateWe really enjoyed our evening on this dinner cruise. The food was overall much better than I expected & the drink list was sufficient. I meant to try one of their cocktails but time slipped away from me! I highly recommend stepping out onto the deck between courses to really soak in the sights along the way. We were seated at a window table which was not what we were expecting! Unfortunately, because of the very cold weather, all of the windows in the upper deck were fogged up for the entirety of the cruise. But we wiped it away to stare out when we wanted to. Service was excellent. Friendly & helpful when needed, quiet & behind the bar during courses. Overall, it was a wonderful experience especially with the Goldstar pricing. We're already planning our next time out with Waterways!
report as inappropriateThis was a special occasion with good friends, 3 couples total. We all had a wonderful time and felt that the food and service were good. I heard that the steak and pork were excellent. Didn't care for the pasta much, but I don't care for cooked zucchini which was added. The salad was just ok...it was quite a small portion with so little dressing, we weren't sure if it was there. We wish we had gotten up more often out on the deck between courses to enjoy the beautiful lights and scenery, since it's hard to see from the window tables inside. There was also a full moon.
I would do it again for a special occasion.
report as inappropriateWhen making reservation, I was not informed what table I booked. When I go to the boat, it turned out I was seated at one of the two tables in the middle. It would be very nice to actually inform your customers what table you book. It does make a big difference whether you sit by the window or in the middle. The food was average at best. I did not enjoy the main entree, the salad and appetizer were just ok. I also felt the choice of alcohol beverages was limited. The things I enjoyed was the hospitality of the captain, he was very acommodating. Other staff were great too. Everyone was very friendly. The views from the boat were amazing, we saw the sunset. We also enjoyed the upper deck of the boat.
