The parking is kind of far and if you don't know where it is it is hard to understand. Ask around and plan to get there with enough time!La Jolla Symphony & Chorus: Life ... Made for Sharing info • Mar 18 2014 star this tip starred
The weather was chilly night. I wore slacks, collared button down with sweater. Was consistent with other guests.La Jolla Symphony & Chorus With Pianist Sarah Cahill dress • Feb 10 2014 star this tip starred

The La Jolla Symphony is brilliant, their selection of music is always laudatory. The selection of Bernstein's spiritual music (psalms) was breathtaking and performed brilliantly.
Unfortuately we always have problems with the box office at Mandeville Auditorium. Too often they want to give us the folding chairs right up against the stage. This time they loss our prepayment tickets and we had to go to the main box office and plead for a ticket. We told them that we didn't want to sit next to the stage but she sat us there anyway. We returned the tickets and managed to get them changed. I the relying upon them for decent tickets. It's as if they feel Goldstar are "cheap tickets" ad undeserving of better seating.
Pre-concert lecture begins one hour before show time.
