Praised by the New York Times for dance that is "fresh and physical, not for the faint of heart," Nick Ross brings his Nicholas Andre Dance Company to the Garfield Theatre. The New York-based company brings an athletic component to modern dance through such repertory staples as "Arena," "Zootopia" and the newest addition, "The White Party." Ross has choreographed more than 16 works for his nine year old company as well as new works for dance programs at SUNY-Purchase, and Manhattanville College where he has been an adjunct professor. The performance is part of the San Diego Center for Jewish Culture's Look & Listen performing arts series.
