Saddle up for a Wild West adventure! Annie Oakley is the best shot around, supporting her little brother and sisters by selling the game she hunts, but when she's discovered by Col. Buffalo Bill, he persuades her to join his Wild West Show. In a heartbeat, Annie falls in love with the show's veteran sharpshooter, Frank Butler, and soon eclipses him as the show's main attraction. Butler hightails it off to join a rival show, but is ultimately pitted against Annie in a final shoot-out. This rousing 1946 Broadway musical comedy features the classic Irving Berlin hits "Anything You Can Do," "Doin' What Comes Naturally" and "There's No Business Like Show Business!" Learn More

We went to the opening night preview-our first time at the Forum theater. What a wonderful theater. The play was very well done, the stage set was innovative and the cast "fit the part". We did have a bit of trouble hearing Professor Williams at times. Knowing the LJ Playhouse-that has already been addressed.
Written by and starring Claudia Shear

Once a rising star in the exclusive art restoration world, Giulia burned all her bridges and now works alone in her refurbished Brooklyn garage…until opportunity comes knocking. When Giulia snares the coveted job to spend a year in Florence restoring Michelangelo’s David, she soon becomes consumed by love for the marble giant. As her obsession with the David grows, she resists joining the vibrant life around her, despite the repeated encouragement of the museum’s security guard Max. Torn between the eternal perfection of the statue and the delightful messiness of real life, Giulia must decide if she has what it takes to live outside the clean, anonymous safety of the museum.
Inspired by the actual restoration performed by one woman on the _David _in 2004 — in preparation for his 500th birthday — acclaimed playwright/actress Claudia Shear delivers a passionate, funny and inspired portrait of a woman who spends a year in the shadow of a masterpiece — and uncovers herself.
_Restoration _is an Edgerton Foundation New American Play Awards winner.
