I found the talk to be boring. The speaker is undoubtedly very bright and well informed, but not easy to listen to. He repeats his point with multiple words, adjectives, and redundancies. I grew very weary waiting for him to get to the point.Written on Jan 24 2012

Gil Cohen-Magen is a photojournalist whose photographs have graced the front pages of some of the world’s leading newspapers and magazines. With a portfolio that ranges from the most violent scenes of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, to the closed world of ultra-Orthodox Hassidim, Cohen-Magen has captured the many faces of the Holy Land through his lense.
A graduate of the Hadassah College of Jerusalem's Photography program, Cohen-Magen spent 8 years working with the Reuters news agency. One of his photographs was selected as one of the top 100 photographs of the decade. Cohen-Magen has exhibited his photographs in Europe and in Israel.

Jacob Goldberg was an adviser to the Prime Minister of Israel, Ehud Barak, on regional and international affairs from 1999 until 2001. He participated in the negotiations with the Palestinian leadership as well as in meetings at the White House, the Kremlin, and numerous other capitals.
For the last decade Goldberg has been a professor at the College of Legal Studies in Israel. Prior to that, he was Acting Head and Senior Research Fellow at Tel Aviv University’s Dayan Center for Middle Eastern Studies. He is an internationally-respected lecturer and consultant on the Middle East, with particular emphasis on Arab-Israeli relations, Persian Gulf politics and oil, and American-Israeli relations.
Goldberg has a law degree from Tel Aviv University, and M.A. and Ph.D. degrees from Harvard University in Middle East politics. He has been a visiting professor at Cornell University, George Washington University, and the University of California, San Diego, and also lectured at Israel’s National Defense College. He also served as the founding professor in the department that spawned San Diego State University’s Lipinsky Institute for Judaic Studies.
Goldberg is the author of The Foreign Policy of Saudi Arabia, published by Harvard University Press. He has also published numerous articles in the leading newspapers in Israel and the U.S., including the New York Times and the Washington Post.
