Soprano Susanna Phillips in Mainly Mozart's Spotlight
Susanna Phillips, one of the nation's top rising opera stars, sings as part of Mainly Mozart's Spotlight Series. A pair of programs feature a wide range of Italian and English songs, ranging from Schubert's "The Shepherd on the Rock" to "Danny Boy," "Ave Maria," and works by Bruch and Gounod. Phillips will be backed by a talented trio: violist Paul Neubauer, clarinetist David Shifrin, and Mainly Mozart's own curator of chamber music, internationally-renowned pianist Anne-Marie McDermott. Come early for a pre-concert reception, and stay afterward for an artist talk-back.
