The haves and the have-nots come face-to-face in the Broadway hit Good People. Written by Pulitzer Prize winner David Lindsay-Abaire (Rabbit Hole), this Tony-nominated dramatic comedy finds struggling single mother Margie Walsh laid off from her job at the dollar store and left with the reality that her South Boston neighborhood is providing the same level of opportunity it always has: none. It's the kind of place where, for many people, this month's paycheck covers last month's bills. Facing eviction, Maggie's forced to turn to an old high school flame for help. But he's now a successful physician living in the suburbs ... and Margie is way out of her element. With his signature humorous glow, David Lindsay-Abaire explores the struggles, shifting loyalties and unshakable hope that come with having next to nothing in America. Learn More

Ok, first of all, my people are BAD AZZ! Yep, my people, my mom is Chinese…smile But really, this was a great event, stunt for stunt, better than Cirque Du Soleil, and I have been to several of their shows…this show is just lower budget but all of the action is there. The acrobatics, tricks, flips, etc were fantastic, breath-taking, and beautiful to see. Nice music too. Fun for the entire family!
Parking is free and the venue is easy to find and snacks and drinks available for purchase.

Having made their Broadway debut in 2005, which NY Newsday called “…almost too perfect,” The Golden Dragon Acrobats are going into their 32nd consecutive year of touring in over 65 countries on 5 continents. Champion acrobats, contortionists, and jugglers combine breath-taking skill and spell binding beauty to transform 2,000 years of Chinese tradition into an awe-inspiring display of talent and grace. Incredible, ‘don’t try this at home’ feats will leave you plastered to the back of your seat and asking both your neighbors if they just saw the same thing you did.
