La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts presents veteran stage actress and former Olympic gymnast Cathy Rigby in the role that earned her a Tony nomination for her Broadway run. According to the Washington Post, "Rigby has mastered the singing, dancing and aerial shenanigans, but has also gotten to the core of the boy who wouldn't grow up." Soar with Peter Pan and the three Darling children as they fly away from their nursery to the magic and wonder of Neverland, where they encounter the cunning and evil Captain Hook, villainous pirates, a crafty crocodile and a sprightly fairy named Tinker Bell. Audiences of all ages will enjoy the adventure-filled and whimsical ride, not to mention the score that includes such classics as "I Gotta Crow," "Neverland" and "I'm Flying." Learn More

What a wonderful event. I invited Mom and sis, who is an art major...they loved it too. We all learned quite a bit about Leonardo and his beautiful works of art.Written on Feb 20 2012
This was our first time to La Mirada Theatre, we had great seats! Thank you Goldstar :)

This was an outstanding film. It showed you the exhibit with the input from some of the top art experts in the world as your personal guide. It provided information about the personal life and artistic ability of Leonardo da Vinci. That alone was fantastic. But for the icing on the cake, it took you behind the scenes and gave you a peak at how a world class museum puts together an exhibit. I have shared this experience with several friends and they would like to see the movie. I hope it will be repeated.Written on Feb 20 2012

Since it was an 11 am showing, the theatre was very considerate to allow lidded/capped drinks into the theatre. I was pleased to be able to have my morning coffee while watching the show.Written on Feb 20 2012
We didn't realize that it was a free-seating event until we picked up our tickets; we've been to La Mirada many times but always for assigned-seating events. By the time we got our coffee and entered the theatre, there were only seats in the front ten rows left.
Since the screening was done on a humongous screen that spans the whole height and width of the stage, watching the show from where we were at was a bit of a strain on the neck. Lesson learned - check if the event is free-seating and if it is, go early and grab good seats.
But the show itself was enjoyable and we were really glad to have caught it.
