Rick Miller performs his international hit one-man show MacHomer at La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts. This sublimely silly multimedia update of Shakespeare's chilling tragedy Macbeth combines a largely faithful text with Miller's hilarious impressions of over 50 characters from The Simpsons. Imagine Homer Simpson as the Scottish traitor, Marge as Lady Macbeth, Mr. Burns as the doomed King Duncan and Moe the Bartender as Witch #2. In the last 15 years, Miller has performed MacHomer to sold-out theatre and festival crowds in over 130 cities.

La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts presents veteran stage actress and former Olympic gymnast Cathy Rigby in the role that earned her a Tony nomination for her Broadway run. According to the Washington Post, "Rigby has mastered the singing, dancing and aerial shenanigans, but has also gotten to the core of the boy who wouldn't grow up." Soar with Peter Pan and the three Darling children as they fly away from their nursery to the magic and wonder of Neverland, where they encounter the cunning and evil Captain Hook, villainous pirates, a crafty crocodile and a sprightly fairy named Tinker Bell. Audiences of all ages will enjoy the adventure-filled and whimsical ride, not to mention the score that includes such classics as "I Gotta Crow," "Neverland" and "I'm Flying." Learn More

I laughed and laughed throughout this production, especially the added musical bonus at the end. Rick Miller is tremendously talented and a super nice guy who took his time meeting with the many fans waiting after the show. I had seen this production about 5 years ago and it has been updated with more current reference. Highly, highly recommended!

Great show! I have had trouble getting my daughter to see the bard's plays. This was a great way to give them the basic story while keeping them entertained. Very creative and well worth it. May see it again!
