Winner of more than 30 international theatre awards, including three Tonys and a Laurence Olivier Award, Matthew Bourne's Swan Lake is a triumphant and thrilling reinterpretation of Tchaikovsky's original, Russian folk tale-inspired ballet. Bourne's iconic and breathtaking production -- which revolves around a young crown prince, his distant mother and the swan that represents the prince's desire for freedom -- took the dance world by storm when it premiered in 1995, and is perhaps best known for its replacement of the traditional female corps de ballet with a menacing male ensemble. The performance featured in this stunning, high-definition screening was filmed at London's Sadler's Wells Theatre in 2011 with a cast that includes Richard Windsor, Dominic North and Nina Goldman. What a delight!! Memories galore to those of us who remember the 50's and have fpllowed George Burns over the years! Especially liked the 3 pm time AND no intermission (tho no doubt difficult for the performer). We were able to get tickets thru Goldstar when the venue was sold out - amazing.

Broadway’s third-longest running solo show ever, Say Goodnight, Gracie, was nominated for a 2003 Tony and won the 2003-2004 National Broadway Theatre Award for Best Play. Don’t miss this chance to spend an evening with one of the biggest hearts in show business, the always hilarious George Burns!
