Guests will also select and sample ten tastings from Laguna Canyon Winery's three different wine lists (twenty wines to choose from). It was fun spending time with friends but I didn't find the wine to be anything special. The real problem, though, was that the the owner wasn't very helpful or friendly. I asked him questions about the wine several times and each time he didn't really give an explanation but acted as if I were ignorant and a nuisance . To top it off, when I went up to have a taste from the barrel he didn't want to give me any because he said I'd already had a taste, which I hadn't. I found that to be really strange! I will say that both of the other gentlemen pouring the wine were fantastic...quite friendly and helpful. All in all, it wasn't a great experience and I don't see myself returning anytime soon.
This event was not nearly as interesting, tasteful, or chic as described. The event took place in their warehouse, with a set-up right out of your high school homecoming. The wine was merely alright, the food was dull and the owner forced us all to be quiet and listen to a diatribe about his family and winery-frankly, for $27, I'd recommend going to the grocery store and picking up two bottles of mediocre wine with friends, that would be more fun.

Event well worth the money. Quaint facility filled with a lot of charm and very enthusiastic owners that are brothers. My 4 friends and I had an unexpected, fun time. The light food was very good with great quality and the wine is impecable! I bought sparkling wine, pinot gris, cabernets. Perfect for gifts and the labels are beautiful -- product (wine) isn't too overpriced either.
The event that I attended was nothing like what the other members described. The food was average, the wine was ok and at the end the owner gave a speech about his company, and nothing about tasting the wine. The chairs were placed against the wall without tables to place your food on so you had balance you food on your lap..Minor points? Maybe, but for $27 we deserve better than a highschool dance. Try Winegallery in CDM for "a wine scene" or Winestyles in Irvine for a great value.

I attended this event with 3 of my other girlfriends and didn't know what to expect. We arrived and right away started tasting all the wines with the cheese, crackers, spreads, strawberries etc. The wines were exceptional and my favorite was the gewurztraminer which I could not get enough of and had to take a few bottles home with me. I would recommend this to anyone.
