Written on Sep 30 2010Charming, crazy, colorful Cloris? Oh my yes! Also talented and touching... The not quite full house on Saturday night was completely captivated by this beloved actress. Her life stories were enhanced by her irreverant humor and candor. We learned about the man in her life, the loss of a child, her Iowa roots, and she sings AND she plays the piano AND she delivers a couple of her famous lines aloud as we watch the film clip behind her. Trim and delightfully gowned in a form fitting bright paisley halter with beaded stole she sparkled above her majorly fabulous statement necklace! Her short 'bed-headed' coif suited her spirited and earnest prose. Cloris is an octogenrian beauty with boundless virve and heart. Go see a 'real woman' who is a real star, telling her real stories and have a really great evening in the theater!

Written on Sep 27 2010What a great time it was to see Cloris in such an intimate venue. I loved everything from the videos to her amazing piano playing. Her stories were wonderful. My mom who is 81 loved it and was laughing throughout the show right along with my 15 year old daughter.
