Still the sexiest of the great American musicals, John Kander and Fred Ebb's Cabaret comes vividly to life at Citadel Theatre. This acclaimed musical revolves around the romantic intrigues of cabaret singer Sally Bowles, young American writer Cliff Bradshaw and other denizens of the seedy Kit Kat Klub, amid the backdrop of the Nazis' rise to power in 1930s Berlin. Played out with commentary from the club's darkly comic Emcee, the show's memorable songs include the title tune, along with "Willkommen," and "Tomorrow Belongs to Me." Learn More

I was a little apprehensive to attend an "adaptation" of this classic Christmas story, but my friend & I enjoyed every moment of it! There were so many cast members, and they all performed as professionals, complete with English accents -- even the kids! The play followed the line of the classic Dickens' story, with just a few minor changes. I was pleased to see the theater quite full, and I regretted not bringing my 12-year-old granddaughter. There were a few scenes that were a little scary (as in the original), but they went along with the plot and were quite appropriate. I commend the director, the actors, and all the people behind the scenes (especially those responsible for the extrodinary costumes) for getting me in the holiday spirit.
