More Details

The Jungle Book follows a young boy named Mowgli who was raised in the jungles of India by a pack of wolves. There he learns the laws of the jungle from his good friends Baloo, the bear, and Bagheera, the black panther. Throughout his adventures, he meets characters of all shapes and sizes: Kaa, the snake; King Louie, the leader of the monkeys in the jungle; Shere Khan, the dangerous Bengal tiger; and, of course, the beautiful young girl from the "real people" village. Exciting songs, jungle rhythms and intriguing characters make the jungle come alive in a way like never before.

Recommended for grades K through 8.
