Members Who Went Said:This show was great but the theatre was awful! People were jammed into little chairs packed together like sardines. The general admission required a long wait to even be seated. It certainly is not worth paying full price for tickets. Maybe when the theatre remodeling gets done things will be better. Gordie Brown is a great performer — he deserves better.
Rachel lol'ed a lilttle Well, being of a "younger" generation there were some impressions that Gordie Brown did that I did not recognize so the joke was not understood. Overall, it wasn't as humerous being that he puts his own words to the melody of say a country song by Travis Tritt. I will say that is celebrity impressions were very funny. My favorite impression he did was of Jack Nicholson and Robert De Niro. He also did a good impression of Pres. George W. Bush. Overall, it was okay.
Robert Finch Exmontrealer DO NOT MISS THIS SHOW!!!!! Gordie Brown is not only an excellent impressionist handling maybe 40 personalities, but his refreshing and very witty (somewhat biting) homour makes this show a five star. The venue is small and a little rough but ignore that. He deserves a much better stage for his act. LOVED IT!!!!!!!! |
