Small to medium venue. This is an ice skating circus with several performers 'direct from Russia'. A narrow elevated ice lane loops around the first 8 rows or so, which quite often is used by performers. Had excellent seat next to this ice lane.

The show...at least what I could see of it...was good. The seats at the Riviera were terrible. They put us toward the rear of the theatre at these long tables seating 12 people across from each other. Unless you are at the front end of the table, which we were not, don't expect to see much of the show. Everyone is trying to move their seats around to catch a glimpse of the performance but they pack you so tightly against the next table that there is no room to shift your chair. I do not recommend this show because of the logistics of the seating. The show itself was fine. We picked up our tickets soon after the box office opened at 2:00 pm and were very disappointed with our seats. I would have preferred to have paid a bit more at full price to see a lesser show than paying less and not being able to see the performance because of the poor line of sight of the stage due to the bad table seat arrangements at the Riviera.

ICE was a great family friendly show with lots of exciting stunts and acrobatics. It was definitely entertaining and everyone in the group, including kids and grandparents really enjoyed it. The only downside was the seating arrangements are very cramped, unless you tip the hostess to upgrade to a booth.

The seating arrangement is terrible. You are packed in sideways at long tables like sardines. The Riviera needs to change to stadium seats like the newer theaters.

The event was just great. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed it. It was very nice that four of the performers stood outside the theater to take pictures with the audience after the show.

Great show, but the Versailles Theater at the Riviera is not that audience friendly. Our seats were in section C, long tables of 8 people - crammed in like sardines, so you sit sideways to the stage. It is so tight, you can't really turn the seat around to have a comfortable view of the show. I had to turn my neck, and had a small amount of strain after the show. Fortunately the show was so good, it made me forget about my horrible seat. Giving it 3 out of 4 stars only because the seating was poor.

Very talented performers!
We were seated at a long table and luckily had the first seats. If you had any others the view must have been compromised.

I did upgrade the seats beforehand due to the other members feedback but once I got into the theater, it didnt look like it was worth the extra $15 a ticket to upgrade because the seating looked okay. It is a very small theater so viewing the show is no problem. It's only worth the upgrade if you want to be at a restaurant style table/booth of your own.
The show itself was entertaining. It does have a few points where it lags or is repetative but the talent makes up for it. More acrobatics than I had anticipated but all in all, it was good. Of the four in my group; The teenager liked it and one out of three adults thought it was awesome. The other two thought it was good but not great.

This probably one of the worst shows I've ever attended. The skill and techniques used by the performers is great, but there is no story in this production. Jokes are lame and not funny. They are missing a great opportunity to produce a great show with highly capable actors.

This was sooooo not worth the money we spent on it, because they only ran half the show!!!!!
We got VIP seats, but who cares, since they only ran half of the show! The lady at the box office didn't even tell us the show was going to run only halfway! I wish I could get all my money back!

I had a really good seat! However the arrangement of the theater is quite awkward and it is at long tables. If you get the last seat I think you would have a difficult time seeing. I gave it 3 stars since Cirque shows are much better!!! If you have a little more money go and see one of them. I was surprised at how short the show was. It only lasted an hour. If you are in need of a descent/good show and don't have a lot of time I would highly recommend it. If you have more time and more money then definately check out a "Cirque" show!!!

I was somewhat disappointed because it wasn't what I expected. Small area in which to skate. Not alot of jumps and such. More theatrical than athletic. Made attempts at some humor but wasn't so funny. Don't go expecting to see the same level of talent that Russian Figure Skaters in competitions have.

The performance was quite impressive -- my wife said it was more enjoyable than Cirque de Soleil, which says it all. I enjoyed the variety, the comedy, and the acrobatics. It wasn't high tech, but it was definitely worthwhile, especially at the goldstar price.
We were slightly concerned about the seating, based on prior comments, especially when we arrived just before show-time, but we had a small table with 2 other people and no trouble seeing.

These tickets are well worth the price from Goldstar. The show is great, with spectacular stunts and beautiful girls. The theater arrangement was pretty bad though. The picnic style table seats were very uncomfortable. I probably will never again attend any show at the Riviera unless they change the seating venue.

this is no cirque du soliel show. the music selection is horrendous, the sound system is like a high school sadie hawkins dance, and the props look like they came right out of a home garage shop. that said, these things could be fixed with a decent music or artistic director, some investment by the dingy riviera hotel, and a decent prop master. does ICE really have permission to use pink floyd in its show? use russian music, the english language lyrics are distracting. we're not too stupid to understand the plot without mostly terrible songs to guide us.
the actual skilled performances range from just okay to really good. you feel like these are real performers, just not as polished as cirque's, therefore prone to disaster. this makes their stunts and acrobatics compelling, because you expect somebody to get hurt! there's nothing death-defying, but it's nonetheless entertaining.
the entr'act guys are more palatable and entertaining than cirque's creepy clowns. in general, however, all the performers are a little too hammy in seeking applause, which also makes them seem to be quite a bit less professional than cirque's.
the venue has a few rows of seating, then all cabaret seating. the waitstaff is not pushy about buying drinks. it's not a great venue, though. for $90 ticket (full price), i would expect a much more professional show and comfortable seating. for half price, i rate the show a solid 2. this could easily be a 3 if the riviera would upgrade the sound system and the show's producers would rescore the whole show with authentic, haunting and expressive russian language music.

This show was actually better than I had expected it to be. The skaters were good, it was very well staged and the costumes were very effective. I found the Pink Floyd 'us and them' sequence to be particularly memorable from a 'beautiful to look at' perspective. The guy balancing on the moving platform was astonishing. As others have said, the seating arrangement is a bit odd and if you're unlucky enough to be sitting to one side and with your back to the stage, you'd have to turn your neck the whole performance in order to see which would get old real fast. I can't work out why they don't just turn it all into theatre seating, they'd be able to pack more people in and everyone would have a good view as it's very up close to the stage.

This was a very Vegas Russia ICE event. I would not likely bring my young adult children to this event, however grandma may enjoy this. She would however expect a little more variety of skating skill, lifts and jumps, not so much blades on ice....

I enjoyed the show very much, but there is definitely room for improvements. The Rivera Casino needs to invest on their sound/speaker system; the static coming from the speakers was very distracting. The stage is very small and a few of the performers made some minor mistakes in their performances. Despite these setbacks the show is still entertaining and a fun experience.

This was a very entertaining production. It combined skating with circus type acts like balancing, juggling, unicycles, clowns and jump boards.
The women were gorgeous Russian beauties and they could skate!
The Goldstar tickets were for seats at 8 person tables. Unless you were in seats 1 and 2, you were constantly craning your neck to see. If possible, tip the head usher for better seats. I wish that Goldstar could get the regular theater type seats in the front.

I loved this show! I think I would even have paid the full price to see it. But then again, I'm a figure skater myself, so I might be more interested in a show like this than other people. You won't see what you see in Olympic skating or other figure skating competitions in this show. You will see some slow spins and almost no jumps. You've probably seen better circus acts on the ground, but what makes this show totally amazing is that they are on ice and they are wearing skates. The show is very visually pleasing and impressive.

Ice show was great. We had the best seats in the house. Russian comedians were not good. Obvious that Cirque Du Soleil had a hand in the production. Alot of Cirque elements incorportated into the show. Often graceful and beautiful displays on the ice and in the air. I took an 82 year old friend with me and she loved it too.
