William Inge's Pulitzer Prize-winning Picnic is a timeless American drama about the battle between restraint and desire. On a balmy Labor Day in the 1950s, a seductive drifter ambles into a small town in Kansas while its citizens are busy preparing for their annual picnic. And when he awakens the desire of a young woman who calls this town home, it disrupts a number of lives within this tightknit community, forever changing it. The Tony Award-winning Picnic tells an iconic and affecting story about the desire to lead a more fulfilling life ... and the chances we're willing to take in order to achieve it. Learn More

There was no ticket in my name when I arrived at the box office. They must wait until you arrive to process gold star tickets.
The theatre was nice enough.
The play was good. The set was excellent. Some of the actors were very good. There were some questionable casting choices. Some unflattering costumes.
Overall a good entertainment.
