Very entertaining, and our "free" tickets got upgraded to very close to the stage.Written on Dec 08 2008
Drinks expensive, but definitely a good laugh.

It is a hypnosis show. The most malleable volunteers are selected and made to do silly and vulgar things. It is called a comedy but Savard is not very funny. If you like people playing instruments with their bottoms you may laugh a lot.Written on Oct 25 2011
I came a skeptic about hypnosis though it has medical evidence. The experience was interesting. There were behaviors that seemed sincere and unusual though I continue to believe there is a strong element of cooperation and intention in those who submit. Still the over the top girl was entertaining and several seemed dazed or surprised at the end. For me it is a problem no photos of any type were permitted.
The Goldstar price made this a reasonable entertainment. If you are in town a short time and want a Vegas Experience avoid it. It is a decent night out but only for the uninitiated and those liking stupid animal videos. There is a lot of waiting first getting tickets, then in line and then in the long dull selection process where Savard looks for the most pliant.
I notice the whole experience had a bad after taste. No class, no wit. In summary it was OK but it did not hypnotize me.

Great event! I had not laughed so hard in a long time! There is plenty of adult content in the show - so if that bothers you, you should not attend. Don't volunteer to go on the stage, unless you don't mind people laughing at you.Written on Jan 17 2011

Description
The Experience of Being Hypnotized, According to Mark Savard
Hypnosis is a natural state of consciousness. Although many people are not aware, you pass through a state of hypnosis every night when you are falling asleep and every morning when you wake up. Hypnosis is often described as a deep state of relaxation and one of the best feelings someone will ever experience. One hour of hypnosis is the equivalent to eight hours of sleep.

Is the show staged with actors?
The volunteers that are on stage during the Marc Savard Comedy Hypnosis show are just that – volunteers. They are real people, who have purchased tickets, want to experience the phenomenon of hypnosis and have taken the opportunity to volunteer to go up on stage. Some people enjoy the experience of being hypnotized so much; we have had people volunteer on a variety of occasions when they have attended the show. However, this is common because we have many customers that come back to see us at the Marc Savard Comedy Hypnosis show every time they are in Las Vegas.
Do I have to volunteer?
At the Marc Savard Comedy Hypnosis show, no one is forced to volunteer. However, if you would like to volunteer, about 5 minutes into the show, Marc will ask all audience members who are interested in volunteering to come up on stage. This will be your opportunity to volunteer if you choose to do so.
Can I be hypnotized?
Hypnosis is a natural phenomenon. Everyone can be hypnotized. Some people are more susceptible to hypnosis than others. However, your ability to be hypnotized is sometimes dependent on external factors such as environment, self-consciousness, your desire to be hypnotized, whether you have been hypnotized before, etc. This does not mean you cannot be hypnotized, it simply means that you may not go into a deep state of hypnosis when you volunteer on stage.
