Cast, especially John O'Hurley, are outstanding. Musical is so very funny and except for one scene filled with offensive hand gestures, was very enjoyable and entertaining. I would not hesitate to recommend this show. Show moves from one funny scene to another; time goes quickly. Songs are catchy and filled with humor.

Event Highlights

  • “The Wynn Las Vegas version of "Spamalot" is as finely crafted a diversion as you could ask for, with jokes layered on thick enough for multiple viewings.” --Las Vegas Review-Journal

More Details About This Event:

In a side-splitting musical extravaganza lovingly ripped off from the motion picture "Monty Python and the Holy Grail," the Las Vegas Strip plays host to the timeless tale of King Arthur--Monty Python style! It was written by Eric Idle, one of Monty Python's most famous alumni, and features lyrics and score by both Idle and long-time Python collaborator John Du Prez; the production is directed by award-winning legend Mike Nichols.

About Wynn Las Vegas:

Wynn Las Vegas continues to set new standards for excellence by earning both the Mobil Five Star and the AAA Five Diamond ratings, becoming the only casino resort in the world to gain both accolades.

About Grail Theater:

The Grail Theater accommodates 1,506 guests. The theater's promenade features two merchandising booths conceived as Victorian toy theatres in the iconic collage animation of Terry Gilliam, an original member of Monty Python. On the walls are silver mirrors, gold sunbursts, sculptured glitter clouds, The Grail, neon signage, and multicolored mosaic glass shields. Overhead are dynamic illuminated mobiles of more animated figures from the Monty Python television, film and stage shows.

Well-recognized objects and signature Monty Python characters are flanked by trees from Spamalot's "dark and very expensive forest," a reference to one of the sets in the show.

The theater's environmental design was created by Spamalot's award-winning designer, Tim Hatley; the architecture by Wimberly Allison Tong & Goo; Theater Projects served as the theatre consultants.
