The show was fabulous - it was extremely lavish - the costumes, the sets, and the performances were all first rate!! Our favorite part of the show was seeing Kristi Holden in the role of Christine, though - she was FANTASTIC!!

As we purchased these tickets 4 days before the show, we didn't expect very good seats. We were suprised to find our seats were in the 7th row. Not only did we save $100 on 2 tickets, but we had 2 of the best seats in the house. This is the greatest production of "Phantom" ever and the best show you will see in a lifetime. We had a wonderful time and owe it all to Goldstar.

Even though we have seen this production on Broadway when it first opened, and in Toronto when it started touring, we never appreciated it or enjoyed it as much as we did in Las Vegas. We both understood things we had not understood previously.

The theatre at the Venetian was built specially for this musical, which is now trimmed to one act ...no intermission. It flows beautifully, the music is all intact and the set is visually spectacular.

By all means, this production is a must see!

The cast and orchestra gets a Bravo, and Goldatar deserves Bravo Bravo for securing a block of wonderful seats at half the cost to us.

The money we saved allowed us to have a wonderful dinner at Olive's at the Bellagio ...on the water overlooking the Dancing Fountains...also a specacle. We had the best waiter, Russ Bennett...he made the evening complete.

Go to Olives and request his service and you will see what we mean

Tickets were Fantastic...I mean amazing seats. The show is average, I was expecting something tech savvy with unbelievable written all over it..this had one cool tech thing, believable on it and well, is it worth the 50% tickets? Nah, wait until it comes out on DVD, oh wait..it did.

I'd seen Phantom before, and couldn't imagine how they would make this show any better, but the Vegas production blew any other production I'd seen out of the water. True the show is shorter and certain events in the show are moved to different places, but it worked. All of my favorite music in the show remained. The cast was outstanding, and the set and special effects were the best I'd ever seen. The seats we got from Goldstar were amazing, we were in the orchestra section, just left of the chandelier. Go see this performance!!!

Good production value and great seats from Goldstar. My only complaint is that where I was sitting (near the front to stage right) the orchestra music overpowers the singing.

The chandeliers in the theater does some interesting things, but I won't spoil that.

This was my 2nd time seeing this show and my first time using Goldstar.
I had a wonderful time seeing this show, however even though it says orchestra/mezzanine when purchasing don't expect to get orchestra seats. Our seats were decent in the mezzanine but of course it would have been nice to get closer seats.
Also if you need to contact Goldstar, be sure to have internet/email handy since they have no direct phone number!

The show was fantastic. The theater at the Venetian is spectacular, and the seats (orcherestra) we got from Goldstar were wonderful. 11 rows from the stage on the left side of the theater, 10 seats in. Great price, great tickets, great theater, great show. 10 out of 10! I went to the Venetian box office to pick up the Phantom tickets; no one in line at all, had my tickets in no time. Picked them up 4 hours before the show as recommended.

Great seats. Very different from the Phamtom shows elsewhere because the theatre was specially designed for the Phamtom show. Highly recommended for 1st timers and those who want to re-experience it with more details. Singing is B+ to A-.

This Las Vegas production is a cinemascope version of the Phantom of the Opera. The interior of the auditorium has been made into the 19th century Paris Opera. The added pyrotechnics would render this impossible on Broadway. The best place to sit? If you want to see the performers up close then the Golden Circle/Orchestra section is for you. But if you want to see the entire production, go for the balcony seats. The seats will be at the very rear sides of this big theater but what most of the Golden Circle/ front Orchestra audience won't see is the second chandelier that rises during the overture. Broadway has only one. And they will meld into one chandelier which will drop not onto the stage as on Broadway but truly down to the audience. Those seated in the Golden Circle will not see it and will not know why the audience gasped. Also they won't see the Phantom dangling from the chandelier earlier either.

The text has been wisely trimmed and the orchestration is better than the original. The entire cast was first rate. If you stay at the Venetian, the theater is steps away from the elevators to your room.

The seats from Goldstar Events are on the side of each section as they are available on the Venetian's own site. If you want more central seats I think you have to get them in person at their box office but then they would cost a lot more. I would see it again.

The plot was incomprehensible at times, and you couldn't understand what anyone was singing during a couple of the big group numbers. Had great seats thanks to Goldstar, but didn't like the show at all (and I'm a big musical theater fan!).

If you have seen Phantom of the Opera before, there's only a few new surprises, but not worth the $150 top dollar and maybe not even the discounts. The sets are just as amazing as ever and it's nice to see they shortened the show greatly. But even at an hour and a half...it still felt long. The cast is average and the minor charcters were actually better.

If you've seen "Phantom" elsewhere, it's still worth seeing the "Vegas-ized" version at the Venetian. It's like "Phantom" on steriods--more lighting and special effects and less "filler"--the show is only 95 minutes without an intermission. My only negative was that the elaborate chandelier malfunctioned at the beginning of the show, so they had to stop the show in order correct it. Hopefully, this is a rare event. Enjoy the show!

Not at all like on Broadway, at least visually. The trimmed-down book and score improves the overall work, and the effects are even more dazzling -- much more dazzling -- than in New York. Top-notch cast, too.

Goldstar really came through! Our seats were only 12 rows back, and a bit off to the side, but the view was great. Before entering, I saw late visitors paying $132 for the same area seats we paid $40+ less for.

So far as the show goes, I have one word: Fantastic! I’ve seen Phantom a dozen times in different places, and while I would not say this show was absolutely the best I have ever seen, it is top notch, with standout performances by Kristi Holden (who is unmatched by any of the prior Christines I’ve seen but for Sarah Brightman herself), and Andrew Ragone, who sounds a lot like Steve Barton, whom I have also had the privilege of seeing live in the role.

Anthony Crivello as the Phantom delivers a solid performance, but did not stand out to the same degree as Kristi and Andrew.

Now for those who wonder if a 3-hour show can be whittled down to 90 minutes without cutting something...the answer is NO! However, the cutting is minimal: For instance, the Rat Catcher (which no one understands without reading the book) is not shown, and a few lines are cut or modified from the original show. That said, most time is saved by singing a bit faster than the older shows, and cutting the intermission. I would say that the show still offers 99% of everything the older shows did. I’m real finicky about modifying performances, and can tell you that I was not offended by what has been done in the Vegas venue. Just don’t expect absolute word-for-word faithfulness to the original musical; expect 99% of it.

Some great new pyrotechnics have been added, and a new outdoor facade of the Opera Populaire is in the background to the opening of MASQUERADE.

      The theater? Magnificent.

Last comment: Goldstar’s customer service is beyond great. I always get a rapid, helpful, email response to any questions I have.

I will use and recommend Goldstar at every opportunity.

The special effects were amazing. Seeing Phantom in a theater that was built specifically for this show is a whole different experience. Songs have been rearranged a little...so Phantom fans...don't let that disturb you. It's a great show. Our tickets were in a great location in the theater. The theater is small and every seat is great. This was a Thursday night show and the theater was only half full. See on a weeknight if possible.

Having seen the longer version of Phantom in San Francisco and Los Angeles, I was a little disappointed in this truncated (and up tempo, at times) version of the Phantom. Also, the interpretation of the Phantom of the Opera by the lead actor didn't measure up, but that may be because it's hard to escape the impeccable performance of Michael Crawford. Overall, however, the experience is worthwhile, with a theatre that was built for the production and with added scenes and effects that truly make the production a spectacle.

The tickets given to me by the box office were not the ones I paid for. I paid for Orchestra Seats and recieved only Balcony seats from the box office- even with the paid reciept that I brought. The box office refused to contact Goldstar and I had no phone contact number or emergency number to reach goldstar events (which is a big problem). They told me that these were the seats goldstar had requested. I feel I have been scammed! I had to argue for over an hour to get the seat level which I paid for and even then the seats were separated and of poor quality as compared to the ones released even on the same day to other patrons. Shame on you goldstar!

PHANTOM - THE VEGAS SPECTACULAR was a terrific show. The edited 90 minutes version of this piece did not harm it in any way. The leads were the strongest I have ever seen in these roles. Please make certain you recieve the ticket selection you have paid for using GOLDSTAR. The box office tried to give us "Balcony" tickets when we had purchased our seats under the guideline "Orchestra/ Center Mezzaine".

Ive seen Phantom in New York, LA, San Francisco and London...the only comment I have was that the woman who played Christine looked a little older that what I have seen...and her voice quite not as 'sweet' and 'young' as I have heard in other performances.

We saw Phantom in Toronto in July 1989, this performance had so much more to it ,that we cannot compare the two. Last nights Phantom was wonderful and we have never seen lighting, staging, performers as exciting, ever in anything. You do people a real service in selling them tickets to the Las Vegas Phantom.

Fabulous show! Incredible theater, scenery, and cast. And I had a great seat, thank you! Can't wait to see it again on my next trip to Vegas. A perfect experience, including the savings on my seat.

Really great, excellent voices and actors... special effects and stunts are really impressive. The only thing I was disappointed about is that it was only an hour and a half (although it covered most everything) and also that the theatre was FREEZING, so bring a jacket, hat, gloves, scarf.. etc :)

we loved it! goldstar got us great seats as usual and the performance was amazing. members of our group have seen phantom in both new york and los angeles. (i've even seen it performed by michael crawford, the original phantom). we didn't think that it could have been made better, but here we found ourselves picking our jaws off the floor. BE ADVISED: the cast is smaller, but they vamped up the theatrics (with fireworks and hydraulics). the show itself is also shortened because there's also no intermission. so, REMEMBER to go to the facilities prior.

First class all the way. The production was amazing and kept my interest continually. I've seen this show done on Broadway and didn't miss the fact that a few unnecessary scenes and minor songs were deleted. The timing was perfect for a Las Vegas venue.

Great show - the theater setup and cast were excellent. While the sound at times was a bit on the low side for my tastes, I still enjoyed the performances. Unfortunately I had a loud child behind me which was distracting, but that can't take away from the sheer entertainment of the performers and story. The money spent on having a custom theater was obvious and I would see it again!

I really enjoy this show best when it has its own theater. The theater was half empty and they had some technical difficulties the night of this performance, however, my group still had a great time with this classic.

This show was so much fun...a faster pace than the original Broadway production, but very well done.
What more could you ask for....I got the tickets at a very reasonable price, and great show.

FYI. The Theatre at the Venetian is a beautiful venue =)
      Enjoy!

      Pleasantly suprising. I've seen Phantom
on Broadway 6 times previously with Michael Ceawford and Sarah Brightman.
The Vegas show is about 40 mins shorter but they did a great job and the theatre is amazing.
If you haven;t seen Phantom, this would be worth a good opportunity especially with discount from Goldstar.

THANK YOU GOLDSTAR!! We Will definitely be using your services again. We had GREAT seats to a spectacular show...we did not know if we were going to have mez or orch but ended up in the orchestra. We paid half of what the ladies whom sat next to us did. You made our trip to Vegas a very memorable one! We live close to Chicago and we will check your site out FIRST for our next entertainment experience.

      Thanks Goldstar!

Went to pick up tickets right when they were released - or even a bit before - and got front row seats! They were only a bit off to the side, and we had to look up and backward for some of the action, but even that was easier from the side than I imagine center orchestra front row would be.

An amazing show with so many set changes and effects, your head will spin! My wife has seen the traveling production and thoroughly enjoyed this one. Simply not to be missed, and Goldstar makes it that much better.

I saw Phantom of the Opera on Broadway and I have to say that this production was amazing! The theater is a magnificent replica of the Paris Opera House which makes you feel like you have been transported to 1881. Since the theater is built for this production, the visuals and scenery are breathtaking.

Anthony Crivello’s acting and singing was perfect for the tragically insane character of the Phantom. Kristi Holden & Andrew Ragone were also wonderful in their roles.

The seats we got through Goldstar were excellent. We were in the orchestra/side which allowed us to see the chandelier that is the focal point in a couple of scenes.

FYI – this production does NOT have an intermission. So, you know what you have to do “before” you enter the theater.

Wow....what at show! The trip to Las Vegas was a surprise for my wife. She loves "Phantom" and a friend recommended the show along with purchasing tickets thru Goldstar. The ticket location was perfect in this amazing theatre. Until now, I was not a fan. In fact, I would have probably just went to have dinner at a posh restaurant. We did it all and the show was without a doubt the best part of our trip. Great experience all the way around. I highly recommend this show, especially using the services of Goldstar. We are now off to watch "Wicked" in Los Angeles. Thanks Goldstar! Have fun.

We took my daughter for her 16th birthday and we all had the best time. The music and singing was great, the theatre and set superb. We even waited and spoke with a cast member who was so nice and answered all of my daughters questions. She is a huge fan. The theater was a bit chilly (probably for the cast's sake), so bring a sweater. Best of all, we got a great rate on fabulous orchestra seats with Goldstar. I feel like I stumbled on a goldmine coming across this great resource.

An amazing show. Eye-popping special effects, broadway caliber performances and an immersive atmosphere make this a must see. I had considered purchasing tickets from another vendor but was concerned the seats might be "too close" to the stage. I'm glad I went with Gold Star. The seats were further back but still excellent. The theater is fairly small and these seats allowed us to experience all the special effects (some of the most astounding do not occur up front on the stage).

      The seats were amazing.

The show was not as good as I expected it to be. They left out a lot of scenes from the original (so I hear). As my first time watching Phantom the storyline was a little difficult to follow and the symbology behind certain things were not thoroughly explained so the play lacked depth. I felt many things were not explained (eg. symbology of the music box, father's grave, etc.) and I was right--my friend told me many scenes had been left out.

The fireworks used in the play hurt my eyes because the theatre was so dark. The chandelier was not as impressive as I expected.

The reason for the high rating was due to the close seats thanks to Goldstar.

Phantom: The Las Vegas Spectacular is the Strip's newest hit with critics and audiences alike, haunting The Venetian in a thrilling new production. From the moment you enter the magnificent $40-million custom-built theatre, you are in the storied Paris Opera House and part of The Phantom's world. It's a can't-miss experience that promises surprises that will astound new audiences and loyal Phantom fans alike, and it’s only at The Venetian!

Phantom at The Venetian reunites composer Andrew Lloyd Webber, director Hal Prince, choreographer Gillian Lynne and others from the show's original creative team, who together reconceived their show into a 95-minute spectacular, including every song from the original production. This new production incorporates today's modern special effects and enhancements into the show's timeless music and story.

The Phantom of the Opera has grossed more than $3 billion worldwide since its London premiere in 1986, having played more than 65,000 performances in 20 countries and 110 cities. After the Broadway opening, the musical went on to sweep the 1988 Tony Awards, winning seven Tonys, including Best Musical as well as seven Drama Desk Awards and three Outer Critics Circle Awards. In January 2006, it became the longest-running show in Broadway history, surpassing another of Webber’s greatest hits, Cats.

The expanded Broadway-caliber cast of Phantom features veteran performer Brent Barrett, seen in the smash Broadway revivals of Chicago and Annie Get Your Gun, and Tony Award-winner Anthony Crivello, known for his roles on Broadway in Kiss of the Spider Woman and Les Misérables, sharing the title role.
