The hills will definitely be alive with The Sound of Music at this interactive screening of the film favorite, featuring a fancy dress competition, sing-along subtitles, a "magic moments" fun pack and more. The evening's host leads you through all the pre-show activities, including a vocal warm-up and a primer on when to boo and throw your provided props at the screen (when Nazis appear) and when to cheer (uh ... when Julie shows up). Then you'll enjoy this classic movie in all its Technicolor glory on the big screen and sing along to memorable Rodgers & Hammerstein tunes like "Favorite Things," "Edelweiss," "Sixteen Going on Seventeen" and the title song. Costumes are strongly encouraged, of course, so break out the lederhosen and enjoy this participatory event. Learn More
Reviews & Ratings
“Titanic” by Christopher Durang was first performed in 1974, and involves the Tammurais family, who are traveling aboard the Titanic. We have the Father, the Mother, the Brother, and the Sister. Or, is she the Captain’s Daughter? There are sexual antics, mistaken identities, bizarre character twists, and hilarious commentary on American society. Strangeness abounds in this madcap farce, which the author himself describes as “funny, perverse, and silly.”
