More Information
Five electrifying entertainers perform an eclectic mix of almost every musical genre ranging from pop to jazz, hip-hop, country and comedic parodies. Their audience appeal is universal, with a fan base and audience members ranging in age from 7 to 77. You’ll think Toxic Audio is backed by a full band, but it’s really only five human voices.
This group won the prestigious Drama Desk Award for “Most Unique Theatrical Experience in America” for their Off-Broadway smash hit run at the John Houseman Theatre on 42nd Street and placed number one in the Wall Street Journal/Zagat Theater Survey, surpassing The Lion King and Beauty and the Beast. Accolades include being named "The Best Pop Group In America” by Ed McMahon's "Next Big Star" and crowned the year 2000 Harmony Sweepstakes “National Champions.” Their theatre work in Florida earned them the Lillie Stoates Award for “Best Musical” and their album Chemistry won the CARA award for “A Capella Album of the Year.” As they continue “exploring the boundaries of the human voice,” these uniquely talented, high-energy performers are always amazing, highly creative, classy yet unexpected, and thoroughly entertaining.
Local producer David Saxe brought the Toxic Audio show to V Theater in Las Vegas after a successful run Off-Broadway. The group has appeared on television and in arenas across the country as the opening act for Tony Bennett, Kenny G., and Wayne Brady, just to name a few.
