Margot MacDonald, Indie-Pop Rock Vocalist
Margot MacDonald: Indie-Pop Rocker With Acclaimed Voice
Entire symphonies would struggle to replicate a sound as lush and lyrical as that of Margot MacDonald's "one-man band." The current Washington Area Music Association "Artist of the Year," the 22-year-old MacDonald was recently included in NPR's "Favorite Discoveries" from the CMJ Music Festival. Today, her fourth studio album, Canvas
, is quickly gaining critical acclaim while her YouTube videos, such as her epic cover of Massive Attack's "Teardrop," are racking up thousands of views. But nothing replicates the full power of seeing her live at Montpelier Arts Center.

Piano-jazz master Dick Morgan passed away in 2013, but his music lives on through the talents of his longtime sidemen, now dubbed the Dick Morgan Reunion Band.
