Jazz vocalist Coniece Washington focuses on favorites from the Great American Songbook for this Live at Montpelier concert event. The New Jersey-raised Washington got her start signing in her grandmother's church in New Jersey, and was inspired by gospel artists, along with soul and jazz greats like Sarah Vaughn, Ella Fitzgerald, Nancy Wilson and Billie Holiday, in developing her own style. She regularly performs at the top clubs in the DC area, including Blues Alley, Twins Jazz and the Carlyle Club.

A dulcimer virtuoso and composer who plays a singular style of folk-roots-chamber music, Michael has toured extensively throughout the U.S., Canada, Europe and the U.K, and his music has been heard on the likes of Broadway, the BBC, PBS and The Tonight Show. Michael's recorded 14 albums as a vocalist and multi-instrumentalist, and composed and performed collaboratively with both the Pilobolus Dance Theater and the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater.
