About the Ticket Supplier: Gwinnett Braves
The Gwinnett Braves are the Triple-A International League affiliate of the Atlanta Braves. The 2013 season marks the fifth year since the franchise moved from its former Richmond, VA home – the team’s location for more than 40 years – into its current home at Coolray Field in Lawrenceville, GA. Since the Inaugural Year of 2009, the Gwinnett Braves have reached the International League playoffs, produced three-straight IL Rookies of the Year (Freddie Freeman in 2010, Julio Teheran in 2011 and Ernesto Mejia in 2012), two IL Batting Champions (Barbaro Canizares in 2010 and Jose Constanza in 2012) and an IL Most Valuable Pitcher (Teheran, 2011). Many of today’s key Atlanta Braves players, from Freeman and Jason Heyward to Kris Medlen and Craig Kimbrel, passed through Gwinnett on their way to the Major Leagues. Over 1.4 million fans have come to Coolray Field to watch the G-Braves since 2009.
