The Bellamy Brothers, who have performed together for almost half a century and had 20 No. 1 Billboard country singles, headline a concert. Founded in 1968 by brothers Howard and David Bellamy, the duo first has success on the pop charts, with 1976's triple-platinum single "Let Your Love Flow." They moved on to country music, scoring their first chart-topping hit with 1979's "If I Said You Had a Beautiful Body Would You Hold It Against Me", and went on to rule the country charts for almost a decade, with hits like "Redneck Girl" and "Old Hippie." They're the most-nominated duo in Academy of Country Music and Country Music Association Awards history. See them in concert at Viper Alley, with opening act The Makena Hartlin Band. Learn More

Written on May 28 2012Have seen them a number of times, and they are always a perfect evening.
We love to dance, and their music holds so many memories for my wife & me of the 60's & 70's.
Written on Feb 28 2012Great venue for concerts. Band was very good with great stage presence. Enjoyed those horns. Food was good also but limited menu. All in our party really enjoyed this concert.
Written on Feb 28 2012This is a high energy band that plays hits from the '60's...brought 2 other couples with us and both really were impressed with the venue and the band...this was the first time we saw them, but wont be the last....
Written on Feb 28 2012good show
Written on Feb 28 2012Such a fun fabulous group. Very entertaining and musically very good. Kudos to Jamie Dawn--- she was terrific. I only wish the music played during dinner ( for 2 hours before) was not so loud. We were there to visit with friends and see a show. The visit part was excruciatingly hard to talk over the music.
Written on May 23 2011our group thoroughly enjoyed the entire evening! 1969 was fantastic and yes! it did feel like woodstock all over again! but i, personally, enjoyed the music more from the 2nd band: generations. both bands took us back to the era of the 60's where life was mod and pop and psychedelic! would see again!
Written on May 23 2011There were two 60's tribute type bands playing at this event. The first one, opening act, was called 1969. The band and singers were FANTASTIC! The choice of music/songs were exactly what I wanted to hear. (same for the rest of our group) Everyone in the band looked like and made you feel like it was Woodstock all over again. We sang along with them. We danced. We thoroughly enjoyed this part of the evening.
The second act, whose name totally eludes me, was no where near as entertaining. There were Go Go girls and the main singer reminded us of Bill Murray when he was on the original SNL and doing a comedic version of a lounge act. We left while they were still on stage. I will say that the female singer of this last act was talented but the whole group just didn't work for us.
If I could rate the evening with just the first band I would give them 5 stars.
