Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter John Parr teams with Sam Llanas, formerly of the BoDeans, for a special acoustic evening. Originally from England, Parr gained fame in the mid-'80s for his top 40 hits "Naughty Naughty" and "St. Elmo's Fire (Man in Motion)," the theme to the hit Brat Pack film. He's continued to tour and record, recently opening for Canadian pop rocker Bryan Adams and performing with Journey and Richard Marx. In 2011, he released a remix of his signature hit, called "Tim Tebow's Fire," to honor the star NFL quarterback, and it's gone on to receive more than 900,000 views on YouTube. His latest two-CD album is called Letter to America.
