Kathy was great. The seats were crowded and small and not in keeping with the price even with the Goldstar discount. The dinner was fine but not excellent and the service was rushed. The concert staff was very organized and friendly.

Kathy Griffin is hysterical. I have always wanted to see her, but could never justify her tour's high ticket price. I was elated to finally see tix offered on goldstar and snapped up two immediately. She was great - she totally delivered her signature celebrity bashing, profanity ridden, ADD style of humor and the crowd ate it up. Wente Vineyards was absolutely beautiful. The venue completely exceeded expectations. Great set-up (stage / seating), extremely friendly staff, and very well organized. They even had golf carts that would take people from their parking spot to the entrance. I would definitely go again!

The show was great! She is so funny. I was laughing the entire time. Loved being outside and having a wonderful buffet dinner. Thanks for offering a great deal on Goldstar. I would have not attended if it wasn't for your discount. I have recommended your website to friends.

I can't write the word "LOVE" enough times to describe her show. She was phenominal! We brought two straight guys (out of 4 in the audiance). One loved it because he watches t.v. The other hated it because he only watches South Park.
      Kathy was a riot!
My stomach hurt the next day from laughing so hard the night before!

Wente was lovely as usual. The ONLY complaint, and I feel awful about even complaining, is they must have laid-off their night time parking staff. It took us 45 minutes to get out of the parking lot! Unbelieveable! They used to have parking attendants managing traffic and a cop waving folks thru the one stop sign on this isolated road. Not last night. Bad!

Kathy Griffin performed at the beautiful Wente Winery in Livermore, CA. The venue is beautiful and our seats couldn't have been better. I recommend wearing comfortable shoes, as the walk from the parking lot to the stage area is rocky and uneven. We had a wonderful time!

Kathy Griffin is always on top of her game and this was no acception! The Wente venue is great as well as you are not too far back even with Terrace seating.

Kathy is awesome live! I was worried about repeat material, but she was talking about events that happened that very morning.
She is a riot! Can't wait for her to come back to the Bay Area!

Kathy's comedy is not for the weak-of-heart. That said, we loved it! She spent a bit too much time on the Real Housewives, but that's only my opinion since I don't watch those shows.

Kathy is an acquired taste; you have to like dishing on celebrities and be comfortable with adult-level humor. That said, she was very topical including poking fun at the venue, and I definitely fell off the folding chair laughing several times.

The event venue was awesome. 5 star food, great atmosphere, not a bad seat in the joint. Kathy Griffin was a very good performer. If you like her stuff, she is very funny. Great show, and better with the Goldstar price. My wife wanted to go and she had a great time!

Kathy is truly a great entertainer. She's even funnier in person than on TV. I HIGHLY recommend seeing her in person for any of her fans.

The venue was great. Wonderful food and drinks and excellent service.

Very funny. No mercy on celebrities, using lots of four letter words. She went on for almost two hours without a break, and almost without a breath!

Kathy was "the bomb", right on target as usual and absolutely hilarious!! We had a great time. Unfortunately it was very cold and although we brought a light jacket it wasn't enough. YOu needed a blanket or heavy coat. The venue should sell blankets or provide t hem for a rental fee.. My other critique is on the seating, flimsy chairs that almost collapsed. They should be checked ahead of time. Also Parking people should absolutely be guiding folks out of every lot. We sat there for 40 minutes, not very organized, before we got out. Parking attendants were walking by and not even taking the lead and getting people out in a timely manner. Also the signage could be better at night getting out on the road. Someday a sponsor should provide a cover, even for part of the seating area.

The Wente venue is lovely, however it can get very cold as the evening progresses. It would have helped to have ushers explaining where our seats were. It's a really nice gesture that they serve free coffee.

Kathy Griffin was a blast! She is hysterical and with all the things happening in the world, especially Hollyweird, she has plenty to talk about. The event lasted an hour and a half.

Did the "top-end" sit-down dinner and front section for the concert. Kathy Griffin and the venue were great. Ate outside, which was nice and leisurely before the concert with preferred parking. The food was good, but not great. The seats were great. Despite preferred parking, there is only one way of getting out of the winery, so the parking was only an advantage on arriving, but does not get you out much faster.

She was sort of funny, but not overly so. There was polite laughter for some of her 'put down' jokes on celebs like Kirstie Alley, Oprah, etc. I had higher expectations of her standup routine.

    Wente Vineyards

After learning about winemaking from Charles Krug, C. H. Wente, a first-generation immigrant from Germany, founded his own winery in 1883. Recognizing that the warm days, cool nights and gravelly soils of the Livermore Valley were ideal for growing grapes, he purchased 48 acres and planted vineyards. In 1918, C. H. Wente's sons Ernest and Herman joined the business, with Ernest managing the vineyards and Herman acting as winemaker. The company was later passed on to Ernest's only son Karl, and in 1977, Karl's young son Eric took the helm. Continuing the 125 year legacy, the winery is managed today by the Fourth Generation of the Wente family, Eric, Philip, Carolyn, and the Fifth Generation, Christine and Karl. The winery has grown to include over 2,000 acres of vineyards in the Livermore Valley, San Francisco Bay and 800 acres in Arroyo Seco, Monterey.
