Michael Bolton and Kenny G teamed up on Bolton's "How Am I Supposed to Live Without You," which won the 1990 Grammy for Best Male Pop Vocal Performance. At Wente Vineyards, they again take the stage together. Spanning genres between jazz and pop, Kenny G is a hugely successful sax player who has been a staple on adult contemporary and smooth jazz radio stations since the mid-'80s. Kenny G's last two albums were the Latin-inspired Rhythm and Romance and the R&B-tinged Heart and Soul, which featured guest vocals from Robin Thicke and Babyface. Michael Bolton's varied career stretches back to the mid-'70s when he performed cover tunes and his own blue-eyed soul songs in a gruff voice reminiscent of Joe Cocker. Having steadily toured and released albums through the years, recent appearances have included the 11th season of Dancing with the Stars and the "Jack Sparrow" short on Saturday Night Live. Bolton's 2011 album Gems: The Duets Collection features songs with Seal, Delta Goodrem and country band Rascal Flatts. Some tickets include a pre-show dinner in the award-winning Wente Vineyards Restaurant, while others include a wine country-style buffet dinner served in the theater.

About the Ticket Supplier: Wente Vineyards

After learning about winemaking from Charles Krug, C. H. Wente, a first-generation immigrant from Germany, founded his own winery in 1883. Recognizing that the warm days, cool nights and gravelly soils of the Livermore Valley were ideal for growing grapes, he purchased 48 acres and planted vineyards. In 1918, C. H. Wente's sons Ernest and Herman joined the business, with Ernest managing the vineyards and Herman acting as winemaker. The company was later passed on to Ernest's only son Karl, and in 1977, Karl's young son Eric took the helm. Continuing the 125 year legacy, the winery is managed today by the Fourth Generation of the Wente family, Eric, Philip, Carolyn, and the Fifth Generation, Christine and Karl. The winery has grown to include over 2,000 acres of vineyards in the Livermore Valley, San Francisco Bay and 800 acres in Arroyo Seco, Monterey.
