Even though it rained the whole night the concert was fabulous and the performers gave it their all. They rocked the house!Written on Jun 29 2011

Wente did a good job with the meal and dealing with the rain. However, the Beach Boys kept the audience waiting in the rain for quite a while before starting their show. I also wish they hadn't changed the nature of their music from the original; now it is strongly instrumental and less about vocal harmonies. With the rain and disappointing music, we left early.Written on Jun 29 2011

Wente did an outstanding job, the Beach Boys were wonderful AND it rained the whole time. Full house and our rates were great from Goldstar.

Wente Vineyards did their best to make the rainy event a success. The meal was delicious as always. They brought in tents, opened the event center and wiped off wet chairs. The Beach Boys were a lot of fun and John Stamos was a real treat adding to the entertainment. I would go back to see them again, hopefully on a clear night!Written on Jun 29 2011

About the Ticket Supplier: Wente Vineyards
After learning about winemaking from Charles Krug, C. H. Wente, a first-generation immigrant from Germany, founded his own winery in 1883. Recognizing that the warm days, cool nights and gravelly soils of the Livermore Valley were ideal for growing grapes, he purchased 48 acres and planted vineyards. In 1918, C. H. Wente's sons Ernest and Herman joined the business, with Ernest managing the vineyards and Herman acting as winemaker. The company was later passed on to Ernest's only son Karl, and in 1977, Karl's young son Eric took the helm. Continuing the 125 year legacy, the winery is managed today by the Fourth Generation of the Wente family, Eric, Philip, Carolyn, and the Fifth Generation, Christine and Karl. The winery has grown to include over 2,000 acres of vineyards in the Livermore Valley, San Francisco Bay and 800 acres in Arroyo Seco, Monterey.
