Often you meet celebrities and they disappoint you because they are not their characters, they have some kookie quirk, or they are just nothing that you would expect.

Leonard Nimoy was outstanding. I walked away from the hour and 15 minute presentation liking him more than when I walked in. He was reflecting on his activing career, showing personal photos and just being himself. This man cares and loves humanity. He has pursued life goals with passion and he was extremely humble about his accomplishments.

He talked about how he grew to understand that although "he was not spock", he was spock. A very self aware man.

I loved him and what he had to say. This wasn't a Treky thing. Although I am sure there was some big Star Trek fans. This was a different crowd.

I was personally disappointed that he didn't talk at all about William Bell, but we exchange words about Fringe afterward when he signed his book.

He was charming.

Mr. Nimoy was very entertaining and insightful as he described his history from being a boy in Boston, working as an actor and director, and up to his most current occupation as a photographer.
We are impressed that he is still so very active, vibrant and entertaining in his 81st year from which we take great encouragement for us in our 49s. We should all be so alive.

My girlfriend was delighted that he personally thanked her for attending and enjoying his lecture.
This was definitely time well spent and a great event.

Wonderful, wonderful, such a great sense of humor, always laughing and smiling. It shows how much he had to exert himself to play Spock. Loved to hear his stories how the show Star Trek evolved and how much he personally contributed to it's development. He has done so much more since then. Loved the behind the scenes photos, and those of his years from before and since Spock.
