It is sooo cool! It's like a modern chick-flick on stage!!! For something that's been written decadesss ago... this play is still up-to-date with its views and opinions of "An Ideal Husband"-- although different in time... but exactly the same sentiments! A Must See!!!Written on Jun 18 2007

Mr. Wilde is as insightful today as when An Ideal Husband was written over 100 years ago. Forgiveness and love are always topical and his characters are very real. Loved it.Written on Jun 18 2007

Amusing. A few of the actors had a bit of difficulty handling the Victorian British sensibilities, but the second act was much better. If you go, take a jacket. The theatre was quite cold even on a warm day.Written on Jun 12 2007

More Information About An Ideal Husband
Description
A dazzling blend of farce and morality, this play explores human frailty and social hypocrisy. Sir Robert Chilton’s secret is discovered and exposed as he is accused of having exploited government secrets for his own gain early in his political career. With this revelation from Mrs. Cheveley comes the threat of blackmail and the ruin of Sir Robert’s career. Yet, in order to be a successful blackmailer, one’s own reputation must be beyond reproach. Oscar Wilde’s wonderful wit is at work in this famous, lush costume comedy which features blackmail, stolen jewels, romance and rich satire on the Victorian era.
