The Play was absolutely wonderful. I didn't expect it to be as good as it was. The entire cast did a wonderful job and the charactars they played were so believable. I went the day before closing night. I wish I could of went sooner as I would have invited more guests to see the play. I really enjoyed the show and would have definetely seen it again and again.Written on Nov 25 2008

I enjoy going to the Long Beach Playhouse. The Studio Theater has an intimate feeling and comfortable seating. I liked this production, although I thought the pacing was off. Each character seemed to pause too long in responses, making it somewhat stilted. I thought the standouts were the actresses that played Cherie and Elma. I look forward to seeing more productions there, so thanks to Goldstar for supporting the Playhouse and arranging the discounts.Written on Nov 24 2008

Description
An American classic, this romantic comedy by award-winning playwright William Inge inspired a 1956 film starring Marilyn Monroe. When a raging snowstorm blows into a Kansas town, eight unlikely strangers become stranded overnight in a bus stop diner. Over the course of the night, the eight strangers realize that each has something to learn about life, love and—most of all—themselves.
