The Play was absolutely wonderful. I didn't expect it to be as good as it was. The entire cast did a wonderful job and the charactars they played were so believable. I went the day before closing night. I wish I could of went sooner as I would have invited more guests to see the play. I really enjoyed the show and would have definetely seen it again and again.

The cast was fantastic, the set design was quaint, and the overall experience was unforgettable. Had it still been running, I would have returned a second time to enjoy again. Terrific production.

The storyline was really good. I enjoyed all the characters. It was a cute romantic comedy which all characters had something in common. I would love to see it again. Nice size theatre, all seats were good.

The SET is FANTASTIC and the cast--even down to the smallest parts is great! The lead guy is very handsome and well built! I especially liked the guitar music--it was wonderful to have an actor who could really play the guitar in the part--and he even acted well!

Great cast for a sweet, touching show. Never saw the film version so can't compare, but this was a great character study with its funny moments too.

I enjoy going to the Long Beach Playhouse. The Studio Theater has an intimate feeling and comfortable seating. I liked this production, although I thought the pacing was off. Each character seemed to pause too long in responses, making it somewhat stilted. I thought the standouts were the actresses that played Cherie and Elma. I look forward to seeing more productions there, so thanks to Goldstar for supporting the Playhouse and arranging the discounts.

The show was almost perfect. Two or three times, an actor or actress would flub his/her lines, but all-in-all, it was very entertaining. Thanks, Goldstar, for having this service.

Entertaining, but, a bit over the top. Casting was strange...the 21 year old main charactor was played by a not-so-youthful balding actor. Good set design.
