This was one of the worst productions that I have ever seen at this theatre. The venue is always terrific but they really need to evaluate their choice of productions. THIS ONE WAS AWFUL!
This play was very entertaining, just the rght mix of humor and mystery and the actors were very well cast. I treated three of my friends and we were all very pleased with the show.

Great play!! Great acting!! Enjoyed it and also our seats were perfect.
We've seen a play before at the LB Playhouse and it was great. THIS, however, was not. Do not waste your money (or time). If you do decide to attend, I suggest wearing closed toe shoes - very large roaches were crawling on the floor in the theater.
Very witty and well handled whodunnit. The script I think was actually better in certain respects than some of Agatha Christie's stage adaptions of her own works. Fairly good cast. I know some other reviewers did not like this play particularly but I did.
I really enjoy live theatre
It was fun. The script needs some work and a few of the actors seemed to be beginners. Other actors were very good and helped the piece to move along.
The main stage at long beach playhouse theatre has a interesting stage setting that the performers are very close to the audience. Great performance, really enjoyed the show.
The Long Beach Playhouse offers a comfortable, air-conditioned setting for enjoying live entertainment. The Mainstage features horseshoe seating for 200 audience members on three sides around the stage. The famous actress Stella Cavendish, accompanied by her attractive young niece, is recuperating from a hectic season and a bit too much high living. They are looked after by a cook-housekeeper named Wimpi, and are soon joined by Stella’s producer/would-be suitor and her fellow actress/arch rival. In the surprise appearance of Stella’s former leading man and his dashing young nephew, both the plot and the romantic possibilities quicken. The arrival of the bustling Nurse Pepper begins the progression of chilling and frequently funny events, leading to the unexpected and ingeniously devised denouement—in which the true identity of the villain is shielded until the last possible moment.
