Mermaid Theatre of Nova Scotia's The Very Hungry Caterpillar is a dazzling backlight puppet adaptation of the classic Eric Carle story about a very tiny (and very hungry) caterpillar who chomps his way through the world en route to transforming into a beautiful butterfly. A great way to introduce younger audiences to the magic of live theater, the show also features adaptations of the popular Carle tales Little Cloud, in which a playful cloud transforms into various shapes, and The Mixed-Up Chameleon, who attempts to emulate the beautiful animals he encounters on a trip to the zoo before realizing that there's value in being his own unique self. The parking is very disorganized at MTW. Be sure to allow time going in and getting out. On the Atherton side, they are usually line up into the street. It appears there is only one line, but there is normally two. There is just no sign or person to let you know . You may see someone a block away swing their arms, if anything.'S Wonderful info • Apr 21 2014 star this tip starred

Our front row Goldstar seats were a real surprise for this incredible show. Ms. Collins was wonderful despite a few problems here and there. She brought me to tears more than once. Her seemingly partly improvised tribute to her mother moved everyone in my party tremendously. I loved her autobiographical commentary throughout the show. And her singing, well, her singing was so lovely. This woman has a voice that is like a gift from the heavens. Judy, keep singing - we love you!
