Lots of bikes, girls, music and stuff to see, right next to the Queen Mary. What a great place to have an event such as this.
We expected to see more builders and for the one's there to be more accessible. The event mainly centered around selling shirts, jewelry and other items loosely related to the biker lifestyle. It would have been nice to see more focus on bikes and accessories. Maybe if it was not the same weekend as Hollister rally you may have had a better turn out from industry.
The live band that they had playing was great
The motorcycle show had one of kind custom built bikes and the bands were amazing.

I would have liked to have seen more sport bikes. The focus seemed to be on cruisers, etc.
The Los Angeles Calendar Motorcycle Show Weekend, America's premier custom, cruiser, performance and sportbike weekend, returns for the 17th year. The weekend features many of the world's top pro and amateur custom street-bike builders in attendance to compete in the Performance Machine Calendar Show Bike Building Championship, with a bulging purse of $86,000 in cash and awards including the coveted Performance Machine Best of Show Trophy. There are 11 Calendar Bike Building Championship Classes, including the premier Radical Pro Builder Class sponsored by Iron Works magazine, as well as 10 other classes for American V-Twin Custom and Street Bikes, Vintage Bikes, and Metric Sportbikes and Cruisers. You'll get to meet TV's top celebrity bike builders including Roland Sands, Jesse Rooke and Russell Mitchell of Exile Cycles.
Other exciting activities during the weekend include the S&S Cycle World Championship Horsepower Dyno Shoot-Out, free Calendar Bike Building Seminars, the Calendar Girl Model Search Pageant, and the world premier of the new 2009 FastDates.com Motorcycle Pin-Up Calendars with the beautiful Calendar Kittens.
Included with admission both days is the Two-Day Calendar Girl Music Festival with beautiful girl bands and singers including singer-songwriter Kari Kimmel and actress Elizabeth Nicole, Taxi Doll, AC/DC tribute rock band Whole Lotta Rosies, Led Zeppelin tribute band Moby Chick, Reckless Driver, plus the sexy Purrfect Angelz dance shows.
Spectators also get complimentary weekend admission aboard the historic Queen Mary Ghost Ship, and entry to the Saturday Night Iron & Lace Calendar Builders Party with a live band in the ship's Observation Bar.
