We went with the express purpose of finding a trip to Europe. Europe was hardly represented which was a major disappointment.

Much better than the Travel Show at the LA Convention Center. This one was well-attended, full of giveaways, and had big names like Jean Cousteau. I loved the variety of booths like US passport services and the Consumer Division of the Attorney...continued

I thought it would be different. I expected more deals from the vendors. I also wish that all guest speakers would have spoken on both days. Instead you were forced to buy tickets for both days.

I have gone to the travel show each year for the past twenty, this years show was very disappointing in both number of exhibitors, deals (unless you wanted to sign up for time shares).

I wasn't alone in this assessment as many of the comments...continued

This event was very fun and useful. We were planning a trip to Japan and lucky for us, the Japan information stand was the largest and most comprehensive one there. There were lots of vendors there with lots of packets of information, but many...continued

This travel show is basically a forum for tour operators to sell their products, and doesn't offer an overview of various countries. They should have paid us to go! There was limited representation from some countries, which gave an overview of...continued

This was a pretty busy venue. Quite an assortment of national & international travel service providers and agents. Seemed like there were quite a few professionals in the crowd. I found 2 vendors with very good vacation packages.

The talks were of value. There were local booths that focused on the southland and a wide variety of international venues covered. A fairly small show but well worth the visit.

The Long Beach travel show was fine. It was very crowded on Sunday. I picked up a lot of brochures. I would have liked to see the geographic regions labeled to make it easier to find a country you are looking for. The Yosemite area and Thailand...continued

A Bit sparse compared to other years, but a good event and good exhibitors.

Enjoyed the Travel Show and saw a lot of exciting destinations. Is a well organized and complete event, with a lot of exhibitors. Always a fun time.

There wasn't much to see or do. Just vendors displaying their products.

This is the better of the 2 local Travel Shows. Good speakers, lots of information. I was told that next year the aisles will be wider and that the parking will be easier.

Lots of exhibitors! Huge crowd this year. Wish they prepare more giveaway. They were all gone within a few hours. Only a few concessions stands inside the show, wish more vendors/options. Parking.... AWFUL! No clear directions, walking distance...continued

It doesn't matter if I'm going to Denmark or Disneyland, I always research the trips I plan to take. One of the best ways to do this is by attending a travel show such as The LA Travel and Adventure Show. You can hear speakers, talk to experts and...continued

Not really worth the drive there and the long walk from free street parking to the Long Beach Convention Center. Good for free tote bags and tons of travel brochures. Really wanted to see Rick Steves, love his books and PBS shows, but he just...continued

Not worth the hassle. Ok for collecting tote bags and brochures. Wanted to see Rick Steves, and I did, but he rambled on and on about hundreds of topics, and I left.

This was one of the most unorganized events we have been to in a long time. I heard the few ushers they had at the doors explain that the reason the line was wrapped back and forth along the side of the lobby (like a Disneyland line), and then...continued
