The leading brass quintet in Mexico, Metales M5, brings their joyous and playful Brass Spectacular to the Carpenter Center. From Baroque to Bond, and from contemporary to classical, these five extremely-skilled horn players turn a musical concert into a theatrical experience by donning costumes and engaging audiences with plenty of showmanship and Latin American flair. Since its founding in 2005 in Morelia, the capital of Michoacán in the Central Highlands of Mexico, the group has performed hundreds of concerts throughout Mexico, the United States and Canada, and continue to break new ground musically and with their fresh and funny performances.

Musical Theatre West Brings Spamalot to Long Beach

Full Price:
$53.00 - $68.00
Our Price:
$26.50 - $34.00

Musical Theatre West brings its 59th season to a close with one of the funniest shows on Earth, Monty Python's Spamalot. Winner of the 2005 Tony Award for Best Musical, Spamalot lovingly rips off the film classic Monty Python and The Holy Grail to tell the tale of King Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table as they embark on their epic quest. However, diverting a bit from the real story, this hilarious musical features such oddities as a line of beautiful dancing girls, flatulent Frenchmen and killer rabbits. A cast of professional actors from the Broadway, Hollywood and national tours, as well as the best in local talent, will perform the show with the original Broadway sets and costumes. Learn More

Watching great musicians is great and after a while that is what you are watching. With this group they had costumes and added humor which kept it entertaining throughout their performances. The variety of compositions they played was great. A fine group of professional musicians from different parts of the world makes for a wonderful mix of personalities.
