Most the of actors were very accomplished in their roles but the lead male actor, though accomplished as an actor, was required to spend half of the play without a shirt on. He was not really physically fit for the role and it was somewhat distracting. I would have given 3 stars if it were not for this.Written on Apr 14 2008

Dear Goldstar,Written on Apr 21 2008
My Mother and I really enjoyed the play. We were very close to the stage. It brought back memories for both of us from the 50's and 60's.
Thank you very much.

More Information About Picnic
Description
The waning days of summer should give way to the promise of autumn and a fresh start. But it’s 1953 in a small Kansas town and options are few for the beautiful Madge and her independent younger sister, Millie, who yearn for more than the life of staid domesticity awaiting them. Then a dangerously handsome drifter comes along and sets the whole town a-flutter.
