Musical Theatre West Brings Spamalot to Long Beach

Full Price:
$53.00 - $68.00
Our Price:
$26.50 - $34.00

Musical Theatre West brings its 59th season to a close with one of the funniest shows on Earth, Monty Python's Spamalot. Winner of the 2005 Tony Award for Best Musical, Spamalot lovingly rips off the film classic Monty Python and The Holy Grail to tell the tale of King Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table as they embark on their epic quest. However, diverting a bit from the real story, this hilarious musical features such oddities as a line of beautiful dancing girls, flatulent Frenchmen and killer rabbits. A cast of professional actors from the Broadway, Hollywood and national tours, as well as the best in local talent, will perform the show with the original Broadway sets and costumes. Learn More

I don't recall the last time I enjoyed a cabaret act as much. Her voice. Her humor. Her impersonations. They were all fantastic. I told her after the show that it was like seeing a full-length version of the concert in the movie "Little Voice." I'll definitely come back to see her next time.

The concert venue was very convenient in location and parking was plentiful. It was a unique cabaret setting set upon the actual stage of the Carpenter Performing Arts Center that was very cozy and relaxing.

Rachel performed with great enthusiasm and energy with moments of humor and sentimentality. Although she was performing in front of a smaller crowd than she would for a Broadway performance, she gave as much of herself as I suspect she would in front of an opening night performance on the Great White Way. We would definitely watch her again given the chance.

The event was fantastic! Rachel was AMAZING, as always! Everyone that worked at the venue was very nice and the theater was beautiful! Very intimate setting backstage with the dinner and tables for seating.
