The parking is very disorganized at MTW. Be sure to allow time going in and getting out. On the Atherton side, they are usually line up into the street. It appears there is only one line, but there is normally two. There is just no sign or person to let you know . You may see someone a block away swing their arms, if anything.

Great show! These guys can really swing. Would highly recommend if you enjoy this genre of music. Had never been to the Carpenter Theater. Very nice venue. Not a bad seat in the house. Plenty of easy, accessible parking.

First trumpeter, Fred Radke, and the members of the Harry James Orchestra, were awesome. Our party of 5 thoroughly enjoyed the concert. Mr. Radke has great humor, timing and a beautiful voice as well
as a great trumpeter!

We took our neighbors with us-both in their 70's. Bob had to bring his portable oxygen and the staff at the Carpenter center were so kind and accommodating for him. It was so easy getting to our seats and we all enjoyed an afternoon of beautiful...continued

Description

The holidays will be in full swing, as the inimitable style of the Harry James Orchestra delivers Yule-time favorites along with classic tracks like “I’ll Get By,” “I Don’t Want to Walk Without You,” “I Cried for You,” “I Had the Craziest Dream” and “I’ve Heard That Song Before” — all under the direction of lead trumpet virtuoso Fred Radke — a bravura performance!
