When Sheridan Whiteside gets stuck at the Stanleys' in this Broadway classic, it's not just his broken hip the Stanleys have to contend with: ex-cons at dinner, bizarre gifts from afar, $784 phone bills and sultry actresses all show up! One of the American stage's endearing favorites.

Description

This Broadway classic centers around Sheridan Whiteside, who, having dined at the Stanley’s home, slips on their doorstep and breaks his hip. A tumultuous six weeks of confinement at the Stanleys' follows with hilarious complications such as ex-convicts being invited to meals, strange exotic gifts arriving from friends, transatlantic calls reaping $784 phone bills and the summoning of a glamorous actress to woo away Whiteside’s secretary’s boyfriend. One of the American stage’s endearing favorites.
