This show was one of the best Nutcrackers I've been too and I went to the Dorothy Chandler Pavillion Nutcracker with the Kirkov Ballet, which was also good. There are many wow factors (no spoilers) in this show and it has high production value. I can't really believe what I paid through goldstar because honestly even if you paid full price it would have been worth it. The seats I received where row 18 slightly off center. Its 2 hours with an intermission in between. My highly active 8 year old boy was able to make to intermission and then it was a welcomed break. I would definitely recommend this to others.
For 26 years, David Wilcox’s production of The Nutcracker has been seen by over a million people all over Southern California, throughout the Asian continent, as well as on television. In this annual traditional performance, Tchaikovsky’s ballet comes to life as the young Clara goes on exciting journey through a battle between the Mouse King and a Nutcracker comes to life and into the Land of Sweets. Featuring Melissa Sandvig from So You Think You Can Dance.
